Welcome to our Corporate Identity

A sense of community, prosperity, and caring are the main influential elements of the Community Development Authority brand. It is about standing up for everyone from the biggest to the smallest irrelevant of their gender, nationality, religion and position within society. We must all care for one another to ensure a brighter future for all.

The CDA will act as the catalyst of care throughout Dubai, the effect of which will be felt throughout the region. This is the concept behind the circles and the chevron. A bold and proud red pointing towards the heavens and endless possibilities, a solid core with aspirational visions towards a better today and a greater tomorrow with its influence having far reaching results. The circles act as ripples spreading the message and goodwill of the CDA. The circles represent the various elements making up the community in Dubai (the individual, the group and the community) – all starting from one point yet they vary in size reflecting the diversity of a community that shares one future.

The red color is the passion of the CDA, it is love, it is energy, and it is the symbol of humanities life force (blood). Green, inspired by the color of palm-tree leaves, is a symbol of peace, growth and natural prosperity. While stronger greens are connected with personal gains and money directly, light green is about nature and harmony. It is peaceful and elegant. It relaxes your mind, body, and soul.

The Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 recognizes that “in order for economic success to be sustained, it is crucial that the social development sector infrastructure be developed.”

The CDA’s strategic plan is based upon comprehensive research and analysis
of the most important social issues facing Dubai.
