Our Plan
We are currently in the planning phase and are developing the five-year Strategic Plan for
Dubai’s social sector. The CDA strategic plan is based upon comprehensive research and
analysis that enables us to understand the most important social issues facing Dubai, and to seek
out opportunities for social development.
Over time the CDA and its agencies will play different roles in building capacity and capability in the social sector. It will:
The CDA plans to advance social well being through three initiatives:

Prevention - proactively identify and assess needs, and advocate to prevent them if possible.

Social policy and program planning – defining sector-wide programs, developing policies, conducting awareness programs, and providing resources to providers.

Services – provide services for social protection and social Inclusion, as needed by the Dubai community.
