Social Development Today
The Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 recognizes that Dubai is considered “one of the world’s fastest growing cities and is a top performer as measured in terms of economic growth and level of GDP per capita”.
It also highlights the basic tenet that in order, “for economic success to be sustained, it is absolutely crucial that the social development sector infrastructure be developed.”
The CDA will strive to make Dubai a better place to live in today and for future generations through pursuing sustainable social development. We aim to do this by:

Addressing a range of social issues related to the social well-being in Dubai including individuals and families with an emphasis on vulnerable groups.

Improving people’s lives, empowering them and promoting autonomy.

Promoting National Identity and encouraging all to be proud of being part of Dubai.

Ensuring that Emiratis play an active role in the betterment of their society.
