Law No. 7 of 2012 on financial and social benefits in the emirate of Dubai specifies benefit types, range, eligibility criteria and reasons why a benefit might cease. The law includes the benefit eligibility criteria and limit based on the average monthly income of the eligible beneficiaries and the number of family members. The Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai is in charge of enforcing the law and providing the benefits stipulated according to the types, categories and amounts of benefits, as well as the actual needs of the persons requesting the benefit, and the priority of cases.
