Social Responsibility

The UAE pays attention to social welfare by providing many public services aimed to maintain an advanced level of social stability and meeting the needs of society. This included the provision and development of infrastructure based on Plan 2021. The Emirate of Dubai has worked to translate this through “Dubai Social Agenda 33, under the theme ‘Family: The Foundation of Our Nation’.", which is one of its main objectives to be ranked among the world’s top 3 cities in standard of living. Here comes the role of the Contributions and Social Responsibility Section in The Investment Opportunities & Financing Department which aims to cooperate with the different sectors and bridge social gaps to promote the role of sustainable development. We at the Community Development Authority are working to direct the contributions of social responsibility to the priorities of the government agenda to diversify and develop the sources of income for the authority in general and the Social Solidarity Fund in particular, and to stimulate and increase the participation of various sectors, especially private sector companies and businessmen, to participate in supporting community development projects.
