Since established in 2008, the Community Development Authority (CDA) has worked actively through various channels; to achieve the desired outcomes of the social sector that were identified by the National Agenda. With every milestone we achieve, our ambitions get higher and our aspirations to reach an ideal society get closer. A society allows the best level of social prosperity to each individual, and provides them with the civilization and evolution essentials.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai conceived a foundation for us to build on and follow when he said “In the race toward the first place we look to excellence as a challenge rather than an achievement. Achievement is what we realize for the future of our people; while the march of excellence is continuous and does not stop at any limits or borders”. This calls us to continuously work to advance the competing and sustainable features of our society, and to consider every milestone as a new starting point toward new horizons of success and achievements for our nation.
Dubai Strategic Plan 2021 has given a special priority to the social sector; which provides an extra momentum to our programmes. The Strategic Plan emphasizes on the government vision to increase people happiness and quality of life. The Fourth Generation of the Government Excellence System stressed on the results as performance indicators, this makes us always in a competition with ourselves and in an ongoing endeavor to achieve the aspirations of the society members.
In order to reach the highest standards in customer service, CDA takes the Fourth Generation of the Government Exultance System as a precept to supremacy in customer service, which is why we have adopted innovative standards to develop and deliver our services, based on customer satisfaction and happiness.
The launch of the CDA’s customer happiness center marks a new milestone for us, as it removes all the barriers between us and our customers and provides innovative and warm environment to swiftly accomplish the services.
In CDA, and as prat of our efforts to forecast the future social requirements, we work on producing policies to protect the rights of the vulnerable groups such as Senior Citizens, people with disabilities and children. We are keen that the government support to these policies could help those groups enjoining equitable opportunities and further integration in the society.
Empowering people that eligible for financial and social benefits: is also one of CDA’s key missions and we communicate with customers from all categories and through-out various channels to know their aspirations and to learn more about their challenges. Our team makes sure to work with them hand in hand to develop quality solutions to overcome these challenges.
